Paul.
So my 2007 3.4s is needing some TLC. I was quoted the following on todays shopping list. This is from a specialist in Scotland. Front brake discs, pads, wear sensors - £349 Rear brake discs, pads, wear sensors - £329 Minor service - £199 Spark plugs - £115 Brake fluid change - £69 Total = £1273.00 including VAT. Do you think that seems reasonable for the Porsche?
mike597
I'd say that sounds about the going rate.
Boxstercol
Sounds fairly reasonable to me. Brakes are fairly easy to do yourself if you're competent with the spanners. Euro Car Parts for the parts & always some discount code available (lately its been 30%).
Paul.
Thanks! Looks like the parts on eurocarparts come to around £330. I think i have done that correctly. Brake discs all round and pads all round. I am not handy with cars at all but i have a friend who could fit these. Hope the basket is correct or i will be short of parts ? spyderman8
Yes, that's a pretty good price - I've never paid as little as that.
Patrick Bateman
Might want to check carparts4less. Essentially ECP with discount already applied but they have additional discounts for spending over £50, £75 and £100.
Southy
That price looks to be in line with what I've paid in the past.
