alank
Morning, something i have just started to notice is when i turn ignition off, their is a electric motor/pump type noise which goes on for about 5 seconds from the front area of car. Is this meant to be? Only discovered yesterday that they run cooler when Sport/Sport+ is on. I was in normal mode and temp was around 110, which made me investigate, apparantly their is a clever temp control unit which allows more coolant around engine in Sport/Sport+. After 18 months with it , still learning!!! Cheers Alan
bbob1
Mine has always done that so I guess it's normal. Maybe it's related to the ventilation flaps or something like that.
Stu67
Think it's the low pressure fuel pump, you hear the same sound briefly when you switch the ignition on (Assume to prime the hi pressure pump) and remains running when start/stop is activated - either way it's normal.
