½cwt
Double check with Autodoc for the Koni Special Active shocks on a high discount day on their app. 4 minutes ago, BenM said: Actually, thinking about it, probably more for the labour ! When I did mine 3 year ago parts were about £1400 (everything except rear springs) and it took me a lot of hours once seized bolts in drop links and rear arms were dealt with. £100 per hour, 10 hours might be pushing it even for a pro in a well equipped workshop and then tracking it too. BenM
I've um'd and ah'd about doing it myself, but the numerous Youtube vids I've watched have scared me off I've done dics, pads, radiators and other stuff, which is fine on my drive, but really need a lift and all those images of seized bolts have put me right off tackling it. My mechanic is (or was last year) £65 +VAT and whilst not a Porsche 'specialist', he's done this specific job on Boxster's previously. I'm reckoning on 2 full days labour

My parts came to £1650 or there abouts and then my local garage which my friend actually owns charged me £550 for the labour but im sure he did some mates rates. @BenM If you just want ease of getting all your parts from one place like sypyder then yes that £1k package makes sense but if you buy the parts separately from Autodoc/design911/spyder etc then it works out cheaper as per my spreadsheet which ive just cleaned up. suspension list - Google Sheets
Panda222
Just to save me boring you all with a new thread i'm just going to jump in here, I've got a 2003 s. As I understand it is already 10mm lower than the standard car. Does fitting the m030 spring lower it 10mm again?

Menoporsche
And (probably somewhere up in the thread) if it hasn't been done before now it is probably sagging lower than 10mm anyway. You can put a lowering kit on a car and actually raise it!

Im a bit confused looking online could you clarify this for me. My car does not have m030 as a code on the options from factory. Does adding those springs lower it 10mm compared to what I currently have?

If you have the M030 package, it is springs, dampers and arbs, then it is 10mm lower.

Everywhen
I'm in the process of a suspension refit at the moment. Parts £1300, the Koni SPA came from Larkspeed, cheapest I could find and I've dealt with them before a few times and always received good service. My - standard - springs were OK, strut top mounts, bearings and other bits came from eBay and the Porsche Centre in York. It's a lot of work but I like a bit of spannering, its my happy place.

So is there any difference between the Boxster and Boxster S in regard to suspension? if its not chosen as an option
